The Korean Cultural Education Association of Belgium (KOCEABE.asbl) is the official organization for promoting the Korean language and culture. It was designated as the operating institution of the King Sejong Institute Brussels (KSIB) by the King Sejong Institute Foundation, under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of the Korean government.

We introduce you to the Korean language and culture, helping you turn your interest into a deeper understanding and love for Korea.

KSIB King Sejong Institute Brussels 

The King Sejong Institute Foundation (KSIF) supports the operation of 256 King Sejong Institutes in 88 countries worldwide. As part of its Korean language education programs, KSIF develops and distributes standardized Korean language curricula, textbooks, and educational materials.

Nuri-Sejong Hakdang, an online learning platform, plays a key role in promoting Korean language learning apps. KSIF also regularly organizes training courses and seminars to enhance the teaching skills and methodologies of Korean language instructors. Additionally, cultural lectures on various topics are offered to provide locals with an immersive Korean cultural experience.

Every year, KSIF invites outstanding learners from King Sejong Institutes (KSI) around the world to visit Korea.

The King Sejong Institute Brussels is the best King Sejong Institute selected by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2024.

2019

  • Non-profit organization Korean Culture and Education Association in Belgium (KOCEABE) established in February

  • Collaboration with Woluwe-Saint-Pierre (sister city of Gangnam-gu, Seoul)
