Important notes

* Introduction course

  • Session 1 & 2 are same classes. Only date is different.

* Summer Listening & Speaking course:

  • This course is for students who have completed Sejong 2B or are currently studying Sejong 2B.

* Sejong 1A (1 year program):

  • This is in-person class and class location is Villa Francois Gay (Rue François Gay 326, 1150 Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, Brussels).
  • No Korean knowledge required to follow this course.
  • 1 cooking class is included in this course. 

Practical Information 

  • We do not provide recorded videos of the classes. All classes will be run in real time.
  • All classes will be taught in ENGLISH mainly. However, FRENCH can be used when necessary.
  •  When following Sejong Korean classes (1, 2, 3, 4), you need to pass 4 kinds of exams (Listening, Speaking, Writing, and Reading) and attend 70% of the entire course to receive a certificate.
  • When following Sejong Korean Conversation classes (1, 2), you need to pass 2 kinds of exams (Listening and Speaking) attend 70% of the entire course to receive a certificate.
  • You are not sure which level of Korean are you in? Do not worry! You can try taking an online level test for your reference
  • As a new student, it is not possible to start from Sejong Korean 2, skipping Sejong Korean 1. To do so, you are obliged to submit the result of the online level test.
    (ex. I am a new student though the online level test result advises me to register from Sejong Korean 3 – POSSIBLE
  • If you are completely new to learning Korean without knowledge of the Korean alphabet, you are advised to register for Sejong Introduction Course
  • When following Sejong Korean Conversation classes (1, 2), you need to pass 2 kinds of exams (Listening and Speaking) to complete the course.
  • You can still register for Sejong Korean 1 although you do know the Korean alphabets. However, then you need to follow Korean alphabet lessons in Sejong Korean 1 classes. 
  • Textbooks are not included in any fees. You can buy the textbooks here and here.
  • We also recommend purchasing a workbook.

  • As a KISB student, €20 annual registration fee is required.
    • Only New students should pay €20 annual registration fee: BE95 9501 3113 6958 (KOCEABE.asbl)
  • Every classes’ tuition fee is €180 (except the fee of Sejong Korean Introductory class – €50):
    • BE07 9501 8315 8866 (KOCEABE.asbl)
  • Korean adoptees can receive 50% of the tuition fee as a scholarship.
  • If a class is cancelled, we will refund your tuition fee.
  • Refunds are not possible after class begins.
    – You can change classes after consulting with the teacher in charge.
    – If a refund is not possible, you can use it next time.
